something that annoys me so fucking much is that i sometimes fucking forget for a moment that the usa are a foreign country for me. they are so everywhere in the media that you just assume the usa as the default. like when i was describing the cinema at the Forum, i said that it shows artsy and foreign films. as opposed to the regular (commercial) cinema, which has more mainstream films. like hollywood shit. as if american films are not foreign films!
