Stronger, Faster, and further reading
i finished Stronger, Faster, and More Beautiful by Arwen Elys Dayton which i've seen such high reviews of. it was pretty good, "St. Ludmilla" was fantastic and the rest were okay.
i feel like people who love this book might enjoy Ted Chiang's stories, which have do a similar thing with picking a concept to speculate with, and focusing on what it means for society and individual people. plus he has the most consistently good stories in my opinion.
