pitch: The Raven Tower
a pitch i wrote for a book club:
The Raven Tower by Ann Leckie
a fantasy in a pre-medieval setting with gods everywhere: protecting cities, fighting wars alongside humans, used as tools, forgotten on the bottom of the sea...
the main characters are a trans man trying to keep a dumbass prince alive, and a rock. you will love the rock.
it's a Hamlet retelling, for those who care about that sort of thing. for those who don't care about that sort of thing, don't worry you won't even notice (source: i didn't even notice)
contains: domesticated gods, reindeer herders, driftwood economy, the Raven, the cutest god/god friendship ever
