audiovisual elephants
Feb. 28th, 2020 10:06 pmtoday we got acquainted with the university's audiovisual services. it turns out my faculty has a thing called "do-it-yourself film studio", which turned out to be not software but an actual physical film studio - a small soundproofed room with a greenscreen and a bunch of apparatus.
the university computers also have some pretty fancy video editing software that we were told to play with. we were preschool kids presented with a bunch of paints and an empty sheet of paper: of course we tried to use as many colours as we could in the limited amount of time.
we were advised to save any video editing files on a USB drive. i happen to carry one with me so i felt very prepared. although i'm not entirely sure what i'm going to do with my sixteen-second clip of a picture of some elephants with a completely and utterly unrelated voice-over.
