- the New Tab screen had the following text at the bottom of the page: "Fun fact: Firefox users are the smartest, funniest, best-looking people on the web. [Citation needed]". it's silly but it gave me a giggle
- one of my neighbours was wearing a dress with lots of little stars on it that was so cute that i couldn't help smiling
- the song "Send Me A Wave Via Subspace" by Sean Hills
- writing in my diary has a grounding effect, especially if i write slowly and savour each letter, the feeling of the pencil sliding over the paper...
