“I couldn’t sleep. Also, several fun and exciting things happened when I went to the toilet at 02:00:
1. i checked my temperature again, which had risen to 38.6°C
2. i blacked out on my way back to bed and fell over
3. i regained consciousness sprawled in the entire contents of my bin. It would be ever so nice if I could also fall asleep while lying safely in bed.”

enough carrots

i have never eaten a dish that had enough carrot in it (with the possible exception of a small number of dishes that don't require any carrot at all). you'd think that i could make it happen. that, since i cook my own food, this is something i might be able to achieve. and yet, in my years of cooking, i have never managed to produce anything with enough carrot in it.
