art plots

I've come to see that I don't really care for art-related plots. I knew already that I totally can't relate to music stories, but apparently visual arts are also super predictable: main character is a super talented painter (or whatever their chosen art form is) but struggles with lack of inspiration, until the book's crisis inspires them to create a masterpiece. It's not very interesting or compelling to me.
