i wanted to title this something like "Cleanerbot" but that just sounds like a roomba

i relate to Murderbot more than ever now that i work as a cleaner. i too would like the office people (humans) to go home (leave me alone) so i can do my job (do my job) in peace and listen to audiobooks (watch shows). i do Not want them to talk to me. i appreciate the thought behind it, but i would really rather be part of the furniture than make small talk.

i tried to take my nice winter shoes to the cobbler today to have a zipper replaced, but they were like, "sorry mate but these are too busted to be worth fixing". they're from 2018, but they've only been used for four years really because the zipper broke about a year ago :(

i guess i also know not to even try bringing in my truly fucked-up shoes from 2016. i guess i reduce reuse recycled too close to the sun.
