a pitch i wrote for a book club:

The Unspoken Name by A.K. Larkwood
amazing worldbuilding with beautiful writing, good humour and lovable characters, including:

an orc raised by a cult to be a sacrifice, who ends up escaping and becoming a badass swordswoman.
a shitty wizard. he sucks.
an absolutely pathetic wet cat of an elf twink. always chooses the course of action that's the most damaging to everyone including himself.
a hot necromancer librarian. she also sucks but you can't help loving her.
a scary powerful mage girl. slightly creepy.
