letter writing struggles

i'm trying to write a letter but it's somehow always slow and painful work. i like writing letters, but in practice it's so hard because i have nothing to write about! nothing ever happens so i don't know what i'm supposed to put on paper that anyone would care about. even now, when it's been over half a year since the last one, i still have nothing to write. one week, seven months; pandemic or no pandemic; nothing ever happens in my life. but i guess that's a good thing. at least nothing bad happens.

I feel like it's hard to write letters because we just text all the time. It would be easier to write if we didn't expend all of the little interesting things that happen every day. I've been thinking about this because I need an excuse to use my fancy glass pen...
