new year's resolutions for 2024

• buy fresh lychees the next time i see them, no matter the price
• experiment with poetic forms & conventions
• draw & sketch more
• express love & affection
• lend out more books
• unhaul more books
• eat lots of cherries

I don't usually do new year's resolutions, but this time i decided to do some fun ones. low-stakes ones that are easy to do and hard to fail, so that they don't cause stress.

with the second one, i mean trying specific forms of poem (triolets, haiku), rhyme and metre, imagery, length... basically try some new things.
