fear of regret

should i be concerned about the fact that i am more and more motivated by the fear that i will regret not doing things in the future? like, it's one thing to be aware that you often regret the things you didn't do more than the things you did do, but i'm not sure if it's normal that i do so many things that i don't particularly care for because i reason that i will look back at this time of my life in the future and regret not doing things.
