i've been repeating for a year now how much i enjoy Anna Gavalda's books, but now i checked my past ratings on Goodreads and i seem to have been giving her 2- and 3 star ratings. i guess it's partly because of the difficulty with anthologies: you love some, but don't care for the rest. but in any case the main thing i love about Anna Gavalda is the style, and i don't care as much about the plot or characters.
