food crimes: banana smoothie

itrytobebecause i still feel delirious from reading over 1300 pages of Jeph Jacques's webcomic Questionable Content yesterday and several hundred more today, and also because i never saw a food crime that didn't tempt me, i made a Coffee of Doom-style banana smoothie, i.e. smash a banana with a hammer and shove it in a glass.
somehow shoving the smushed banana into the narrow glass was the worst part of the endeavour. worse than the anticipatory regret, the horrendous texture (of course i actually ate it, i hate wasting food), the retrospective shame... it was just so floppy and leathery, and almost seemed to struggle back.
