4.75 kg of chicken

itrytobei have the annoying habit of constantly trying to nettle americans on the internet about general americanness (fortunately they usually don't even realise what i'm trying to do), and of course units are a big thing. when it comes to writing up a recipe for a friend, though, i do have the decency to add imperial units next to the metric units.
thusly, when i made my recipe for stir-fried chicken with pepper and lemongrass, i dutifully converted 300 g to ounces. except. i can copy the numbers that the unit converter spits out. but i don't have that familiarity with the units. so i shortened it... to 10½ lb.
luckily i had a friend proofread the recipe before i sent it, who pointed out that 10½ pounds of chicken feeds like twenty people.
so the moral of the story is uhh i guess that lb is pounds not ounces
