Coming Down to Meet the Rising Sea

i want to try a new treatment for my ills:
bundle me off the the seaside to take the air
the sea is rising and i want to be there to meet it
different winds, storms of a different character

what are these droughts like when you see the sea?
the endless waters without relief?
fresh salt, fresh air but no freshwater
(and the rains, and the floods)

if this is a seaside cure
what waves have i sunk beneath?
the sea is coming
but not fast enough for me
